進化を促す 螺旋構造
地学上、２０億年前アジア大陸にあった日本列島は大陸より押し出され、永い時を経てからフィリピン、アメリカ、アジア、北方の４方からプレートが押してきて隆起し、５億年前ころ日本列島が海から顔を出し始めたといわれています。
乗鞍の麓の福地から、４億８千年前の日本最古のミジンコの化石（天然記念物）が出ていて、この一帯は浅い海だったと思われ、近在から３億年前の貝の化石も出土しています。
現在、5万年前に日本原人がこの乗鞍の麓、飛騨大陸と呼ばれた地域にいて海山のものを採り、自然の中に生きていたとの研究が進んでいます。「ヒトゲノム」ＤＮＡの研究が、その足跡を解き明かしてくれる日も、そう遠くないと思います。
地球には、過去に何度かの大異変が起きたと考えられていますが、僅かに残った祖先たちは、栄えていた文明を再び築きだし、日本では石器時代といわれる頃にはすでに定住型の集落ができていたようです（大阪のはさみ山遺跡）。
そして、その頃の人たちはすでに高度な言葉を使い、互いを思いやる「和の心」の基となるような互恵精神を生み出していったと考えられます。
以来今日まで、日本列島には高い精神文化が栄え、続いてきました。

According to earth sciences, the Japanese archipelago connected to Asian Continent two billion years ago had been pushed out from there and upthrusted by plate tectonics gradually about five hundred million years ago.
The fossil of ceriodaphnia dubia four hundred eighty million years ago, which is not only Japan’s oldest one but a natural treasure, have been found in 福地 (Fukuchi) located at the foot of 乗鞍 (Norikura) and it indicates this area could be a shallow sea. Fossils seashell three thousand years ago, moreover, have been discovered nearby.
Currently, it is under study there was Japan hominid living this area called 飛騨大陸 (Hida Continent) at the foot of Norikura with nature five thousand years ago. I feel the time when some signs are figured out with human genome analysis is presumably not so far off.
It is believed that some cataclysms had occurred in past times but a few survivors had begun to rebuild developed cultures. In Japan, people had already organized their settlements in the Stone Age like the site of はさみ山 (Hasamiyama) in Osaka. Besides, it seems that those who were there then had strong verbal skill and were able to care for each other with the sprit of reciprocity based on “和の心 (Wa no cocoro)”. Since then, this spiritual culture has been handing over and taking over.
